Layer Cake Shatter

Layer Cake Shatter is a popular, high-powered, indica-dominant cannabis strain that many cultivators have produced. Its origins are believed to be in the gardens of Swamp Boys Seeds. It comes from a three-way cross involving four strains. Technically speaking, it is defined as a cake made up of two or more layers with icing or another filler between them. Triangle Kush mates with Skunk, which subsequently crosses with Wedding Cake and GMO (also called Garlic Cookies). With a lovely layer of kief as the filling, it seems to me like the epitome of a layer cake.

The Layer Cake Shatter nuggets are composed of dense, chunky fern-green leaves with fluffy golden trichomes and vivid orange clusters of pistils. Because the kief content might be very high, it is advised to handle the buds on a tray underneath.
